Frequently asked questions

What platforms do you perform on?

I prefer ZOOM but I've done others like Webex and Hopin. Be sure to specify your platform during booking as there might be an additional “platform discovery” fee of $500 if extra configuration is needed.

How Long is the Performance?

Most of my performances are 45-60 minutes. If you need shorter, no problem however I find that 15 min is the minimum for my performance

How many guests can attend the performance?

We live in a virtual world, the number is only limited by the platform and your pocket. I'm happy to discuss and recommend the best way to host your event in order to create the most engagement within your budget.

Is the show customizable?

Totally! Customized magic that is specifically tailored to your product(s), brand, or gift your guests receive in advance can be incorporated into the show. Additionally, if you are looking to incorporate company-branded graphics and backgrounds into the production of the show itself, be sure to ask about our “Enhanced Production” package, which has the look and feel of live television production as opposed to a virtual meeting.

can we have a pre-show call with alan?

Absolutely! Each booking includes a pre show call and a sound before the program begins..

can you involve specific participants or clients?

Definitely! I will do my best to include your company “celebrities”, big personalities, and other VIP guests. However, part of the impact of what I do is the fact that I don't know the audience and nothing was prearranged ahead of time and I like to keep it that way. So please do recommend your specific participants but don't let them know

What if someone doesn't want to participate or has the camera of?

Not a problem at all! No one is required to participate and I only call on people with their video on

what Precautions are taken to prevent technical Interruptions?

Great question. The show is broadcast from a device that is hard-wired to a modem to prevent potential Wifi drops and interference from impacting the performance. While widespread internet service provider/power outages are always a possibility, this never happened to me before. There is always a "what if" in anything we do, we can only be prepared as best as possible. .

is spanish an option?

Yes, Alan is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew. He can do a show in any of those languages and in some rare cases, mix them up for greater engagement.

Can you host our meeting?

Absolutely! Up to 100 attendees there is no extra charge, from 100-500 there is a $80 fee. and/or making frequent interstitial appearances throughout is a common request and easily accomplished.

can the Performance be Broken up into sections?

Absolutely! Interlacing my performance within your program making frequent appearances throughout is a common request and easily accomplished

can we have someone from our team present before the performance?

For sure! Simply provide your event itinerary during the pre-show call so it’s clear when to be ready to “step out” onto the virtual stage.

Is the show family friendly?

Yes! The show is not a kids show but it is family friendly. I wouldn't recommend it for kids under 7.

Can the show be pre-recorded?

Yes... although magic is always best viewed in a live environment. There is a certain electricity to a live magic show that is often lost during a pre-record unless the footage is streamed in a format that does not appear to be pre-recorded to your audience. (Note that pre-recording would still require interaction with live volunteers in some cases.)

can the Performance be streamed to multiple platforms Simultaneously?

Yes, it is possible to broadcast to ZOOM and youtube, linkedin, facebook and other platforms at the same time. Please mention this ahead of time (extra fee may apply).

will you teach our guests a magic trick and/or host a q&a after the performance?

Yes! Simply specify that you would like either of these options during your pre-show call so we can structure the show accordingly
